Oysters are an amazing delicacy, and a great talking point at any function or party. Packed full of nutrients, they are an explosion of sea flavour.. but getting into them can prove tricky and requires a skilled hand.
This is where i come in.
Taking up little space, i provide fresh oysters opened in front of you and your guests. A great spectacle to observe and an interesting talking point.
I come fully equipped with all i need to cater for any event large or small. I don't need a kitchen or any preparation space, can work alongside other caterers and can be available with little notice.

Prices start at £395.
We charge an initial set up fee of £395. This includes:

Up to 3 hours of personalised shucking service for you and your guests

Oysters are priced at £1.50 per oyster.

A Mersea Island local, i grew up on a boat a stones throw from the oyster beds that line the shores of West Mersea.
Oysters are an intrinsic part of the history of my home town and our salty treats are renowned the world over.
I have worked much of my adult life for Richard Haward, a 7th generation Oysterman, spending my days out on the open water, dredging and hand picking oysters. Some times a harsh environment, but always idillic and rewarding, it was here i found a fascination for these curious bivalves.
I now spend my days opening these delicious morsels for the general public of Borough Market, London, where I open thousands of oysters every week. Come down if you would like to see me in action and eat some delicious oysters.
